What you get

Five tools, one missed deadline. One place to keep up.

  • Portfolio

    A portfolio view every morning

See which grants are on track, which need attention and what your team needs to do next.

  • Reminders

    Reminders that send themselves

Deadline reminders and grantee updates go out by email, with milestone evidence and decisions kept on the grant.

  • Payments

    Payment schedules you can trust

Plan installments, move them through approval and mark them paid once you have sent the money through your own bank or wallet.

  • Calendar

    Every deadline on one calendar

Milestone deadlines, scheduled payments and grant start and end dates across your whole portfolio, with overdue items flagged.

  • Grantees

A portal grantees use without an account

Each grant gets a private link. Grantees see where their grant stands, submit milestone work and send you messages there.

  • Reporting

    Reports your board can read

Print a grant report or export your portfolio as CSV. Each change stays in an audit history your team can review.

How it works

From award to final report.

  1. Set up the grant

Create the grant from scratch or a template, assign managers and schedule milestones and payments.

  2. Share one link

Send the grantee their portal link. They submit evidence and updates there, no password needed.

  3. Review and record

Approve milestones, record the payments you made, and keep reports and history in one place.

Clear boundaries

We track payments. You make them.

Grantboard keeps the record; your bank or wallet moves the money. Record the payments your team makes by bank transfer, check or crypto alongside each grant’s milestones.

Works with or without crypto

Most teams never see a wallet address. For teams that use crypto:

  • Use email sign-in. No wallet required.
  • Record grants in ETH, USDC, USDT or DAI.
  • Connect a Safe and get suggested payment matches from executed transfers, read-only.
  • Data stored in London, UK
  • No advertising trackers
  • Changes kept on the record
  • CSV export

Questions

Before you start

What counts toward my grant limit?

Draft, submitted, under-review, approved, active and on-hold grants count. Completed and cancelled grants free a place.

What do grantees see?

A private grant page for updates, milestones, messages and documents. They do not need a Grantboard account.

Do we need a crypto wallet?

No. Sign in with email and track traditional payments on every plan. You can register a Safe for read-only transfer matching if your foundation uses one.

Can we import our spreadsheet?

Yes, with our help. Send us your spreadsheet and we’ll set up your grants with you. Setup help is included with every paid plan. You can also add grants yourself on any plan.

Please leave out bank details and passwords.

Where is our data kept?

Our database and file storage are in London, United Kingdom, which the EU recognizes as protecting personal data adequately. The Privacy Policy lists every other service provider and where it processes data.

Do you offer a data processing agreement?

Yes. Our Data Processing Agreement meets the requirements of Article 28 GDPR and is part of our Terms for every workspace, so there is nothing to sign. For a signed copy, write to hello@grantboard.co.
